Albert Wenk (or Wenck) was a German painter who frequently painted the coast of Capri, so much so that he was known to his contemporaries as 'Capri-Wenk'. Born in Baden 1863, died Munich 1934.
The Cato catalogue records the title as Figure on the Coast, but the back of the painting has 'Bella Vista (Capri)
