Jean came to Wesley's Glen Waverley campus from being the deputy head of the Junior school at St Leonard's Brighton. She was the first Director (later co-ordinator) of the Prep school as it moved into coeducation. She had a lasting influence on the children she taught and the the staff she taught with. She retired in 1988 after more than 10 years at Wesley, and passed away in 2024. Her two sons also came to Wesley.
