Clement Addis OW1910 was killed during World War I. The family have said that while stationed in Egypt undergoing training Clement saw this rug of a lion in a Cairo market, and thinking of his old school's symbol decided to purchase it and send it home for safe keeping.
The rug was kindly donated to the College in 2007.
