David Loader came to Wesley after being Head at MLC for 18 years.
He oversaw the introduction of the Chronicle on a CD-ROM format, which lasted 3 years. His greatest achievement is the development of the Clunes campus for Year Nine students. For the first time students are involved in an international exchange program with Nankai High School in Tianjin, China. The new Lormer Centre at Chum Creek is built after a fire destroyed the last of the original buildings.
He has authored a book - The Inner Principal published in 1997.
He received the Sir James Darling medal in 1999
