Headmaster from 1893-1895. Goldstraw started as a staff member in 1872 and stayed for 24 years. He designed the College crest in 1877 with the beginning of the School magazine - the Chronicle. He painted A Lay Sermon, which hangs at Glen Waverley Campus, and the portrait of Rev James Waugh hanging at St Kilda Road.
